Who We Are

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is a classically influenced, Christ-centered and college-focused K-12 school system.  'The mission of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is to teach our students to become like Christ through a classical, Christian education within a covenantal community.'

Located on two beautiful campuses in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Oro Valley and in North Tucson, we serve about 700 students.  Our programs include award-winning fine arts and academic competitions, state championship athletics and outstanding leadership programs.  In the past six years, we have had 10 appointments to U.S. military academies. Since 2010, 34 seniors have earned National Merit awards.

Our History

In 1998, a group of families working through Catalina Foothills Church came together to discuss their vision for a new Christian high school for the Tucson community. The school they envisioned would have curricula based on sound Biblical principles and academic excellence.  In November 1999, after much prayer regarding the future vision of their school, the board of Palo Verde Christian School asked the church committee to consider acquiring their school.  In February 2000, CFC established its first school board and renamed the school.

Both campuses are at the base of the Catalina Mountains, with the Grammar School on the south side and the Upper School to the west at Pusch Ridge.  With the school and church leadership, a supportive board and enthusiastic faculty and staff, PRCA has poised itself to faithfully raise future leaders for generations to come.
