Who We Are

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is a classically influenced, Christ-centered DK-12 school system.

"The mission of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is to teach our students to become like Christ through a classical, Christian education within a covenantal community."

Located on two beautiful campuses in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Oro Valley and in North Tucson, we serve over 700 students.  Our programs include award-winning fine arts and academic competitions, state championship athletics and outstanding leadership programs.  In the past six years, we have had 10 appointments to U.S. military academies. Since 2010, 34 seniors have earned National Merit awards.

Our History

In 1998, a group of families working through Catalina Foothills Church started Cornerstone Christian Academy, a K-6 classical, Christian school. Two years later, they acquired a secondary school (Palo Verde Christian) and renamed it Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. The schools eventually emerged into a DK-12 school community, unified by one school board. With the school and church leadership, a supportive board and enthusiastic faculty and staff, PRCA has poised itself to faithfully raise future leaders for generations to come.

Both campuses are at the base of the Catalina Mountains, with the Grammar School located in the southern foothills and the Upper School to the west of Pusch Ridge peak.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy continues to be a ministry of Catalina Foothills Church and we so appreciate their years of support. Learn more about CFC.
