Under the Lights and Field Day
At the beginning of each year, middle school students and their families are invited to a potluck with organized games. In January, all students are placed on a team and compete in various events through the day.
National Junior Honor SocietyStudents with a specific grade point average are invited to apply, and are selected based on grades and leadership qualities. Members are required to volunteer community service hours.
Grand Canyon Trip
Each year the sixth grade class enhances their discovery of explorers with a trip to the Grand Canyon. This three-day trip includes a ride on the train from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon. This trip is included with tuition.
Catalina Island TripOur 7th graders travel to a science exploration trip to Catalina Island for three days each year. They learn about sea life, sleep in tents, kayak and snorkel. This trip is also included in tuition.
Washington D.C. TripThis 8 day, 7 night trip for 8th graders takes them to Washington D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, Amish County and New York City to see Times Square and attend a broadway musical. Many visited sites coincide with history coursework.
Etiquette Dinner & Dance
8th graders prepare for and attend this fun evening of a formal dinner and dance. In preparation, students learn various dance styles as well as which fork to use! The school gym is transposed for the event.
