The Fascinating Medieval & Renaissance Periods

The Middle Ages, or Medieval Period, is used to describe Europe between the fall of Rome and the beginning of the Renaissance and Age of Discovery, approximately 500 to 1500 AD. Then the Renaissance is a period in European history marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity and into the 15th and 16th centuries. Our 5th graders & 6th graders recently culminated these units of study, celebrating with a Medieval Feast and Renaissance Jubilee, respectively. Plays, speeches, feasts, jousting, and dressing in character were all part of these special segments of unforgettable learning!
