Q & A with Terri Cropp

Middle School Humanities
"It is my prayer that each one of my student grow in their understanding of how much Jesus loves them."
How long have you been at PRCA?
12 years as a parent & teacher (4th grade-7 years, 6th grade Bible-1 year, 6th grade Science-2 years, 6th Grade Humanities-1 year, K-12 guest teacher-2 years)

Any interesting jobs/positions you have had prior to working here that have strongly influenced you as a person and/or in your role at PRCA?
I taught 4 years teaching 3rd, 4th and 6th grades in public schools. What a blessing it has been to now teach that "true" knowledge and understanding can only be found as you know that ALL things begin and end with our Creator and Savior!

Where did you grow up, and what is your educational background?
I grew up in a military family moving every 3 years, we lived in Virginia, Korea, Germany, and Arizona. My dad retired to Tucson, and I attended Sabino High School. After graduating I went to the University of Arizona before transferring to Northern Arizona University. At NAU I earned a Bachelor' Degree in Elementary Education and later earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from NAU.

Tell us about your family.
My husband, Troy, and I have been married for 27 years and we have two grown children. Both of our children graduated from PRCA. Cody is now 25 and Shelby is 23.

What keeps you busy outside of school?
We love to travel, hike, ski, and spend time with family and friends.

How do you hope to make a difference in the lives of PRCA students each year?
It is my prayer that each one of my student grow in their understanding of how much Jesus loves them, that following Christ is a life long journey, and that God has uniquely and wonderfully made each one of them for His good purposes.

What do you love most about Pusch Ridge Christian Academy?
The likeminded community that desires to grow together in Christ

Why do you think Christian education is important for families to consider?
True understanding must start by understanding God, our Creator.

What's one thing that makes PRCA unique?
The love and respect the students, teachers, administrators and staff have for one another.

What is something that most people don't know about you?
I have had 3 Korean foster sisters who my parents brought home from Korea and helped them to be adopted here in America

Anything else you'd like to add?
It is a joy and an honor to spend my days here at PRCA!
