Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Arts Programs
Fine and performing arts are an important facet of the classical Christian education offered at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy.
Grammar School
The big event of the year is the Shakespeare Festival, held every year in early May. Carols at the Cornerstone is the all school Christmas concert. The 5th graders have a spring vocal and band concert, and also showcase their talents at Grandparents Day. Art and music classes are part of the curriculum for each grade throughout the week.
Middle School
The middle school band and choir classes meet daily and participate in four concerts during the year. Drama classes feature a performance at the end of each semester. General art overview classes are a popular elective for this age group.
High School
Fine arts elective classes include drawing, pottery, painting, graphic design and photography and performing arts options include concert band, marching band, men’s chorus, women’s chorus and a mixed ensemble. Our band and choir groups enter regional and all-state competitions and perform at school and community events. The B.O.W. (Built on the Word) Company features a fall and spring drama production.
