Getting to Know Kirstan Tobin

DK-12 Accounts Receivable Clerk
"Starting out with a Christian education is a great way to ensure the truth is ingrained in our kids' hearts."

How long have you been at PRCA? In what capacity?
This is my sixth school year working in the Business Office handling accounts receivable.

Where did you grow up, and what is your educational background?
I was born in Bellevue, WA. I spent my early childhood in Redwood City, CA and middle and high school in Spokane, WA. I have a bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a minor in Religion from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.

Tell us about your family.
I've been married to Toby for 27 years and our boys Kendall (2018) and Riley (2020) are both PRCA grads.

What keeps you busy outside of school?
We love to camp in our fifth wheel, visit our boys at their universities, and travel. I read a ton, am in two Bible studies, and scrapbook whenever I get a chance.

What do you love most about Pusch Ridge Christian Academy?
The people here are amazing. And the view isn't half bad.

Why do you think Christian education is important for families to consider?
We all need to have the right foundation on which to make decisions every day. Starting out with a Christian education is a great way to ensure the truth is ingrained in our kids' hearts when they'll inevitably be faced with tough choices.

What's one thing that makes PRCA unique?
The teachers here are what sets us apart from any other school. They love the Lord and love our kiddos well.

What is something that most people don't know about you?
I quit a job at Amazon.com working from home in tech support to come work at Pusch.
