A Bit About Mikaela Robinson

This is my second year of teaching Developmental Kindergarten. I have had the privilege to pilot the DK program for the 2020-2021 school year.

My love for early childhood education began while I was a student at Canyon Del Oro High School. I participated in the elective class where we had a hands-on experience in the lab preschool on our campus. Two years into my teaching career, the CDO Preschool Teacher was retiring, and the director of the program reached out to me to apply for the position. It was a dream come true to come full circle and work at the school where my desire for teaching began. Throughout my 11-year teaching career, I have taught preschool through first grade. Each year provided experiences that made me reflect, appreciate, and better my practices. God continues to work in the most amazing ways and has now blessed me with the opportunity to join the PRCA family and take part in launching our DK program!

My husband, Patrick and I have been married almost 8 years and we have two young children, Quinn and Beau. They are our most precious gifts from God! Patrick is a part of our operations team at the Upper School. 

We spend a lot of time with our Italian family. Having two babies at home keeps me on my toes. I am always trying to find ways to keep them engaged and learning through play!

My hope is to build a foundation of learning, love, and respect - all through a Biblical lens.

I love being a part of our covenantal community. You can feel the presence of the Lord on our campuses and can see His work shining bright through our students, DK-12. We all know it takes a village to parent our children and I am blessed to be a part of this one!

After only 3 months of knowing each other, Patrick took me to go sky diving. Our friends and family came to watch. It is one of our most favorite memories to date!
