Firm Foundations

by Kailee Rollman
Keep the faith. Keep God at the center of everything.

While raising her three boys, Timarie Phillips has realized how important it is to stay strong in her faith and continue building foundations wherever she goes.

While Timarie was in high school, she was a part of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy’s first ever women’s soccer team. She helped set the foundation of what would later become a major women’s sport at PRCA.

In her senior year, Timarie served as a chaplain on the student council. She learned how to use her voice, speak out, and that even if she won’t receive praise, it is good to do the right thing. During this time, she also learned how to stand up for her faith, helping her to solidify her foundation in Christ.

Timarie went to school to become a nurse after high school. One year after graduation, she got married. Timarie now has three sons, whom she joyfully homeschools.

The past ten years of raising her boys has taught Timarie the importance of keeping her faith at the center of everything she does. Having her own family has not only taught her the importance of faith, but has also turned it into a daily practice. It has helped her to create a foundation built on faith for her family.

As Timarie says, Keep the main thing the main thing, set a firm foundation.”
